Louth County Council and Drogheda Port Company have confirmed that a flotilla of Classic and Tall Ship fleet will sail up the Boyne and dock in Drogheda for the 2015 Irish Maritime Festival.
“The River Boyne is such a majestic and historic river that it seems only fitting that these beautiful vessels should sail into Drogheda Port for the Festival. We also hope that this year they will be accompanied by other vintage vessels that will add yet more colour to the river” explained Mary T. Daly of Louth County Council. The Festival would not be possible without the immense co-operation, support and hard work of Captain Martin Donnelly, CEO Paul Fleming and all the team at Drogheda Port Company. The 2014 Festival was a huge success and we look forward to working with them again in 2015 to ensure the Festival is bigger and better than ever.
